Technora® Nine-Fifty Survival Cord - 40ft

Nine-Fifty Cord, named for it's breaking tensile strength and made from a fiber known as Technora®, is an ideal cord to have with you at all times.  Weight for weight, Technora® is 8 times stronger than steel and 3 times stronger than fiberglass, polyester, and nylon yarns.  When subject to fatigue, Technora® shows very little loss of strength during repeated abrasion, flexing, and stretching. It's highly resistant to acids and chemicals and has a thermal decomposition threshold of 500Ì´_C. At 250Ì´_C, Technora® maintains more than half of its room-temperature tensile strength.
